An STA Jets Maintenance Controller will coordinate with Operations, Flight Crews, and Director of Maintenance to maintain the flight schedule and ensure aircraft are maintained in accordance with procedures in the STA Jets General Operations Manual and General Maintenance Manual.
Primary Responsibilities:
Act as primary point of contact for all Mechanical discrepancies that may affect the daily operation of all company aircraft
Communicate directly with Operations, Flight Crews, and STA Jets Maintenance to determine if discrepancies are eligible for deferral utilizing the approved MEL/NEF guidelines
Coordinate with STA Jets Maintenance and Contract Maintenance vendors to work aircraft discrepancies and planned maintenance events and ensure the best course of action to get the aircraft back into service with minimal downtime
Scheduling and forecasting in reference to CAMP (computer based maintenance tracking software) for routine maintenance events
Make recommendations for corrective action of discrepancies based on aircraft service history analysis, applicable Maintenance Manual guidance, and Operator experience
Promote teamwork by cooperation with all co-workers
Promote an Environment of Safety
FAA Airframe and Powerplant license required
Rotating on-call coverage
Salary Range: 90,000 - 100,00 Annually
